Lopez Bakery Mural
This mural was created by Latinas Unidas en las Artes (LUNA) for Lopez Bakery in Milwaukee. As part of a community outreach project, LUNA artists collaborated to source supplies, live paint, and beautify this wood panel for an event called "temporary resurfacing" on historic Mitchell street.
Milwaukee County Courthouse Mural
Funded by philanthropist and former county executive Chris Abele, The murals were intended to brighten up the courthouse, as well as celebrate and better represent the diversity of Milwaukee County. There were seven commissioned murals in total with artwork that ranges from representations of marginalized communities to pieces that highlight the past and future of Milwaukee.
